About
Trey McNair is a Los Angeles–based game developer and photographer with an eye for capturing fleeting moments in street life, festivals, and urban nightscapes around the world. Informed by his background as a 3D environment artist, his work explores the quiet drama of city life and the intersection of tradition, culture, and modernity.
Trey Graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design with a BFA in Interactive Design and Game Development, and a shipped artist credit on acclaimed video game Sunset Overdrive (Xbox One) through an artist internship. After, Trey the joined EA to contribute to the Battlefield franchise. Since then, Trey has contributed to major video game titles with Insomniac Games (Spider-Man), Sony (SIE), Tencent (Last Sentinel), UNSEEN (Kemuri), and Electronic Arts (Battlefield), bringing the same instinct for worldbuilding and visual storytelling to his photography.
Having lived in Tokyo for two years (2022-2024), Trey spent his time outside of work photographing local festivals, subcultures, and everyday street life. His travels have taken him across Japan, China, Korea, Thailand, Cambodia, Taiwan, and other parts of Asia, where he focuses on capturing the evolving relationship between cultural heritage and the evolving contemporary cityscape.
